Król soulu oficjalnie ogłosił swoje plany na jesień 2018 roku. „50 Intimate Nights Live Tour” to 50-dniowa trasa koncertowa po Ameryce Północnej, która swoim zasięgiem obejmie sale koncertowe od Richmond, przez Baltimore, Atlantę, Orlando, Nowy Orlean, Memphis, Phoenix, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Filadelfia po finałowy występ 9 grudnia w Nowym Jorku.
Od długo wyczekiwanego powrotu w 2016 roku wielbiciele talentu Maxwella z niecierpliwością czekają na jego nową muzykę. Zgodnie z obietnicami artysty, podczas zapowiadanej serii kameralnych koncertów fani usłyszą dużo debiutanckiego materiału oraz wiele uznanych hitów.
W zeszłym miesiącu Maxwell zaprezentował mroczny, refleksyjny utwór „We Never Saw It Coming”. Wideoklip do piosenki, która jest częścią projektu „The Glass House” to mrożący krew w żyłach film krótkometrażowy z Maxwellem i aktywistką, aktorką i modelką Yomi Abiolą.
